Since 2006 she has worked on various undergraduate nursing faculty with students to prepare the next generation of quality nursing professionals.

In keeping with her holistic philosophy on healthcare, Teresa became an Integrative Health and Maternity Coach studying at the Duke Center for Living. She uses these skills to promote wellness via the mind/body connection and an awareness of how all aspects of our lives impact health-supporting her patients on their journey toward meeting their personal wellness goals throughout the lifespan as well as before, during, and after pregnancy.

In her free time, Teresa enjoys a healthy lifestyle making time for pilates, yoga, hiking, reading, and spending time with her 4 grown children, close friends, and family.
